From everyone here at The Motion Initiative and United in Christ Ministries, we want to wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas! During this time of our savior's birth, we like to take the time to thank those of you that have made TMI such a huge success.
Without the support of our friends, volunteers, and partners, we could not be as effective in what we do for the inner city youth of Grand Rapids and the Black Hills Neighborhood.
We would like to say a special thanks to Village Bike Shop, Ada Bike Shop, and Velo City Cycles for their continuous support of our cycling based program. We would also like to thank The Rapid Wheelmen, Western Michigan Mountain Biking Association, Fun Promotions, Milk Jug Racing, Colorburst, River of God Church, and Bella Vista Church. All of these organizations have supported The Motion Initiative and our programs in one way or another this past year.
Of course we couldn't do what we do without our dedicated volunteers who take time away from their lives and their families to spend time helping at TMI. Those dedicated servants who are here week in and week out make TMI the special place that it has grown to be for the kids we support. So we want to take time to thank all of you that have taken time out in 2009 to put into TMI. Your love, dedication, and support is priceless!
Last, but certainly by far not the least, we want to thank God, our Lord Jesus. He has made this all possible. To Him alone we dedicate and credit all of our success this year.
So thank you all for your help, and we look forward with high hopes for 2010. May you all be surrounded by love, family, and friends this holiday season. We look forward to seeing you next year! Those of you that I have forgotten to mention here, my greatest thanks, for your forgiveness! My mind is not what it used to be!
Sincerely,
Thomas Fish
