Ada's New Bike Shop SALE!
Our friends over at Ada Bike Shop are having a Grand Opening Sale celebrating the opening of their new location in Fulton Heights! Check out the deals, and check out the new shop! Ada Bike Shop has been an awesome supporter of the programs here at TMI, so we encourage you to keep them in mind when you need a new bike, accessories, or service done to your bicycle.

Volunteer to IMPACT the life of a youth!
The reason TMI exists is to make a difference in the lives of under-privileged inner city youth. Our summer season begins soon, and we need your help! Please consider volunteering some of your time to help chaperon rides, to take 1 night a week for two hours to mentor a youth, or just to lend a hand in the shop or at events. Our season officially begins April 19th, but a few events are already coming up soon. There will be a lot of fun to be had this year, so be sure to get involved! For more information, contact Thomas Fish or just stop by the shop on a Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday night from 6-8pm.

On Three Wheels Again!
Kristen stopped by TMI today and picked up an amazing new 1974 Chicago Schwinn Town and Country Trike. She was very happy with the bike, and looks forward to riding it with her kids. Why is this special? Because Kristen has not been on a bike in over 5 years. In the past, she has worked with kids, and has run an annual bike-a-thon to help raise money for that ministry. But lately, she hasn't been able to do that.

In fact, for quite some time, Kristen was in a wheel chair. Kristen has MS. But recently, Kristen has graduated from wheelchair, to walker, to her own two feet, and now to three wheels! Able to lift her right leg over the bike, which before she could only drag behind her, Kristen is now ready to hit the WPT with her kids. It was a wonderful day for Kristen, and we were blessed to witness it! We look forward to hearing about her next bike-a-thon!

Thank You Total Logistics Control!
Last week, we had an amazing work crew from Total Logistics Control come into the bike shop and help out. Five TLC employees from around the United States joined us for four hours and banged out the work! They helped organize and clean the shop, clear out the upper lofts, mount the TV and some bike storage to the walls, process some incoming donations, and a whole lot more! They were an amazing work crew, and we send out a HUGE thank you to them and TLC for the help.
